The cold stamping die process is a metal processing method, which is mainly aimed at metal materials. The material is forced to deform or separate by pressure equipment such as punch to obtain the product parts that meet the actual requirements, namely, stamping parts.

There are many situations in the stamping process of the mold, and many friends do not understand this. Here I will summarize the most common stamping processes for you. As follows:
1. Blanking
The general name of a stamping process that separates materials. It includes: blanking, punching, punching, notching, cutting, chiseling, trimming, tongue cutting, cutting, etc
picture
2. Lower profile
It is mainly a stamping process that cuts off a circle of excess material around the material to meet the size requirements
3. Tongue cutting
Cut a part of the material into a hole, but not all of it. It is common for a rectangle to cut three sides without moving one side. The main function is to fix the step distance.
4. Flaring
This process is not common. It is mostly the case that tubular parts need to expand the end or some part outward into a trumpet shape
5. Necking
Contrary to flaring, it is a stamping process to reduce the end or part of tubular parts inwards
6. Punching
In order to obtain the hollow part in the part, the complete material is separated from the material through the punch and the knife edge to obtain the corresponding hole size
7. Fine blanking
When the section quality of the stamping part needs to be full bright zone, it can be called "fine blanking" (note: the common blanking section is divided into four parts: angle collapse zone, bright zone, fracture zone and burr zone)
8. Full bright blanking
Unlike fine blanking, full bright blanking must obtain full bright band in one step blanking, but fine blanking is not
9. Deep hole punching
When the hole diameter in the product is less than the material thickness, it can be understood as deep hole punching, and the difficulty of punching is that the punch is easy to break
10. Bulge
The process of making a bulge on the flat material to meet the corresponding use requirements
11. Forming
Many friends understand forming as bending, which is not rigorous. Because bending is a type of forming, it refers to the general name of all flow material processes when forming
12. Bend
It is a conventional process to obtain the corresponding angle and shape after plastic deformation of the flat material through the convex and concave die inserts

13. Compression bar
This is generally used in sharp corner bending molding inserts. It is mainly a structure to reduce material rebound and ensure angle stability by punching the material at the bending position out of the convex hole
14. Embossing
15. Coiling
One of the forming processes is to curl the product shape into a circle

16. Flanging
The process of turning the inner hole of the stamping part outward to obtain a certain height of side edge
17. Leveling
It is mainly aimed at the situation that the flatness requirements of products are high. When the flatness of stamping parts is out of tolerance due to stress, the leveling process needs to be used for leveling
18. Plastic
When the angle and shape of the finished product are not the theoretical dimensions, it is necessary to consider adding a process for fine adjustment to ensure the stability of the angle. This process is called "shaping"
19. Drawing
Usually refers to the process of obtaining hollow parts from sheet metal by means of drawing, which is mainly completed by convex and concave dies
20. Continuous drawing
It usually refers to a drawing process formed by multiple drawing of materials at the same position through one pair or several dies in a strip
21. Thinning and drawing
Both continuous drawing and deep drawing belong to the thinning drawing series, which means that the wall thickness of the stretched part will be less than the thickness of the material itself
22. Drawing
The principle is similar to that of convex hull, which is to convex the material. However, drawing usually refers to automobile parts, which belong to relatively complex forming series, and its drawing structure is also relatively complex
23. Engineering model
The general name of a set of dies in which only one stamping process can be completed in one stamping process
24. Composite mold
25. Progressive die
A set of mold feeding by the material belt, which arranges two or more processes in sequence, feeds along with the stamping process in order to reach the final qualified product
